Abstract: A force model of a control valve of injector is set up, and the changes of the fluid damping clearanceinvestigated on the basis of the results of the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the experiments of controlvalve of injector.Results indicate that a damping clearance of 0.02–0.03 mm between the poppet and the valve guide is themost sufficient to dampen any excessive control valve poppet bouncing.
